Women are not naturally less competitive or ambitious than men. The difference between men and women is that women pay a heavy, life long price, in a myriad of ways, for exercising their competitiveness and showing their ambition. As greater numbers of women make it into positions of power and authority, the more other women also want to buck the social stigma and reach for the same.
